A multi-billion dollar financial services company located near Sayreville, NJ, is looking to add a Payroll Manager to their team. This is a hybrid opportunity.• Process payroll tax notices, unemployment claims, and wage garnishments• Point of escalation for complex payroll matters and responsible for root cause analysis and problem-solving solutions.• Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.• Track and pay taxable fringe benefits according to applicable programs• Identifies and recommends updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures.• Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.• Prepare spreadsheets, reports, billing reconciliation for all payroll and deduction related items on a monthly, annual or ad hoc basis• Partner with Accounting and Tax groups on monthly and annual project billing updates, costing, reporting and allocations.• Track, calculate and pay special, ad hoc and quarterly bonuses• Responsible for Journal Entry Downloads and preparing accounting transactions and documents as needed. Prepare year-end accruals for Accounting Department• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
